It also works as personal off-site storage for documents, images, video, audio and software, and you can earn real money every time other people download your files.

Whenever a file is too large to email, Up-4ever gets it to anyone in seconds. It's a reliable place for off-site backups, and it lets you reach your files from any computer without carrying a USB stick around. On top of that, sharing your links can earn you money — so your storage pays for itself.

No — you can upload without an account, up to 10 Mb per file. A free account raises the limit to 100 Mb per file, adds 10 GB of storage, a file manager with folders, download statistics, and access to the earnings program.

Click Sign up, choose a username and password, and enter a valid email address. We'll send you an activation email — open the link inside to activate your account. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or use the resend-activation option on the login page.

Yes. Uploading, sharing and downloading are free. An optional Premium membership removes the free-tier limits: bigger uploads, more storage, instant downloads with no waiting or captchas, and files that never expire.

Open the upload page, pick one or more files (or drag and drop them) and start the upload. Registered users can also use remote URL upload: paste direct links to files hosted elsewhere and we fetch them straight into your account — no need to download and re-upload them yourself.

It depends on your account type:

• Without an account: 10 Mb per file
• Free account: 100 Mb per file, 10 GB total storage
• Premium: Unlimited per file, Unlimited storage

Storage time is counted from the last download, so popular files stay forever — every download resets the timer.

• Anonymous uploads: 5 days after last download
• Free account: 60 days after last download
• Premium account: Never — kept as long as your membership is active

Almost anything — documents, archives, images, video, audio and software. The only limit is the content itself: no pornography or sexually explicit material, no copyrighted material you don't own, and nothing illegal. See the Terms of Service for the full list.

No. There's no public search over uploaded files — a file can only be reached by someone who has its link. That keeps your uploads private: share the link with the people you choose, or keep it to yourself and use Up-4ever as personal off-site backup.

The My Files manager in your dashboard lets you create folders, move, rename and bulk-select files. To remove an upload made while logged in, just select it there and delete it.

For an anonymous upload, use the delete link shown right after the upload finished — keep it safe, it's the only way to remove an anonymous file yourself. If you lose it, the file will simply expire on its own.

For every file you get a standard download link, plus ready-made forum code (BBCode), HTML code, an embed code for media, a short link and a delete link. Pick whichever format fits where you want to share.

Both. You can mount your account as a network drive over WebDAV on Windows, macOS and Linux and manage files straight from your file explorer — see the cloud drive page. Developers can also use the REST API to upload files, manage their account and read statistics from their own scripts, using the API key from their account; details are on the API page.

Open the link you received and press the download button. As a free user you may need to pass a quick captcha and wait a few seconds before the download starts. Premium members download instantly — no captcha, no waiting.

They protect the service from bots and keep free downloads available for everyone. They apply to the free tier only — Premium removes both the captcha and the delay entirely.

Either the uploader deleted it, it expired after a long stretch without downloads, or it was removed for breaking our rules. We can't restore expired or removed files — ask the uploader to share it again.

No. Hotlinking (embedding the raw file URL on another site) isn't allowed on any file — always share the file's download-page link instead. Third-party "premium link generator" (debrid) services are blocked as well; premium speed is only available with a real Premium membership.

Open the Premium page, pick a plan — from a short one-week pass up to a full year — and choose a payment method. We accept a wide range of options including cards, e-wallets and cryptocurrency. Your account is upgraded instantly after payment, and current prices are always listed on that page.

Log in, open the Premium page and enter your key in the premium key field. The premium time attached to the key is added to your account immediately.

Nothing is deleted the moment it expires — your account simply returns to the free tier, and the free-tier storage rules apply again from that point (files expire 60 days after last download). Renew your membership to keep the no-expiry benefit.

Upload files and share the links — you get paid for every qualifying download, up to $3 per 1000 downloads. The exact rate depends on the file size and the visitor's country; the live rate table is on the Make money page. Your balance and statistics update in real time in your dashboard.

Real downloads by real people. Not counted: downloads of your own files (same account or IP address), downloads made with an ad blocker enabled, and downloads through third-party apps or download managers. Automated or artificial downloads of any kind lead to account closure.

Share your personal referral link (you'll find it on the Referrals page after logging in). Everyone who signs up through it becomes your referral, and you automatically receive a 5% bonus on their earnings — credited to your balance, at no cost to them.

Payouts start from $1 — but the exact minimum depends on the method you choose, since some (such as wire-style transfers or certain cryptocurrencies) carry higher processing costs. The up-to-date minimum for every method is shown next to it on the Make money page and in the payout form.

Once your balance reaches the minimum for your method, open Earnings & payouts in your dashboard and request a payout. Choose from many options — PayPal and other e-wallets, cryptocurrency, mobile money and regional methods — or redeem your balance for gift cards from popular brands. Completed payouts are published on the payment proof page.

Use the password recovery page — enter your email address and we'll send you a link to set a new password.

First check your spam/junk folder. If it's not there, request a new activation email from the login page, or contact us and we'll activate your account manually.

Log in and open your account settings from the dashboard to change your email, password and other preferences. Payout details are managed separately under payment information. To close your account, send us a request through the contact form from the email address linked to it, and we'll close it and remove your files.

Pornography and sexually explicit material, copyrighted content you don't have the rights to distribute, malware, and anything illegal are not allowed — violations lead to file removal and account bans. Full details are in our Terms of Service and Child safety policy.

To flag an abusive file, use the report form; for copyright takedowns, follow the instructions on the DMCA page. Every report is reviewed and infringing files are removed.
